"They really are," he confirmed with a shudder of his own at the memory. He never could understand why people felt the urge to destroy any space they were in. His gaze flicked to Marie as she continued, and there was a touch of surprise in his eyes. "When?" he questioned, a small smile turning up his lips. "Does that mean that's something that will be happening for sure now?" Cohen didn't know what he wanted to do with his life, though at least he had a very long time to decide. It always amazed him when he met someone who was so sure of what they wanted. He was very obviously impressed.
Okay, so he didn't really think Marie was trying to gear up to make him do something disgusting. His humor just didn't always translate properly consider he didn't often people well. He could tell by the surprise on her face that his intended tone hadn't been successful. Oh well. "I mean I would, you know. If that's what it took," he said helpfully. Because that didn't make him sound even more idiotic. "That is a much better idea, though." Cohen could lift Marie easily, though he only wondered if she'd be able to reach it on the other side. Most stalls were shorter than him, however, so maybe he could get her to a point where she could dangle over the other side.
