Charlie smirked. That particular offense was very often and continually committed by her. There were others though that she was sure the dear sheriff would have frowned on. They weren't that long ago either, not in non-human years. "Maybe." The Cheshire grin popped up just before she laughed. "I'm twenty-three now though, so you'll just have to catch me doing other stuff," she teased and took another long sip of her coffee.
After Jayati took a bite, she raised her eyebrows and nodded. The silent question of 'good, right?' hung in the air for a moment before it suddenly disappeared into a dating question. She almost snorted. Almost, but managed to keep her sensibilities there. Oh, she wished there was a guy. Someone to at least amuse her for a while from afar. "A few regulars are cute, but you know." It seemed almost an embarrassing topic to get into. She was off her game for one of the first times in her life. Or, what she was choosing to believe was that it was just because she was new.
