"You could do a shawl to go outside, then - or something with actual color?" Marie suggested, her grin hopeful - because a nice little accessory with silver or gold would look nice with any of these dresses (a couple had sleeves, but they were thin as tissue paper), and those shades were both holiday colors that didn't get utilized often enough. Everyone always did red, green, and white for the holidays - it was much too candy canes and Mrs. Claus for the likes of her.
