Peisinoê worked odd hours and was happy to do so. Yesterday she had worked the evening shift until 10PM and had been there all day today. But she preferred to be busy, and at least when she was here she didn't lose time as she did in her home. Today was actually supposed to be her day off, but she was covering for someone who had gotten called by an irresponsible Vampire who waited until 3AM to call the 24hr line about blood.
So she had come in in order for him to sleep. It seemed only fair, and it wasn't like Peisinoê had a social life to get to on the weekends.
That's why she was behind the counter at the receptions desk, idly chatting with the only receptionist they had this afternoon due to it being a Sunday, while looking through a puzzling patient file. Oh, but she did love riddles. But walk-ins took the priority, and her head snapped up, "Good - " A glance at the clock, so much for not losing time, "AFternoon, I'm Nurse Van Der Zee, how can I help you? Are you ill?" The woman didn't look ill, but you never knew in this town.
