It was the need for a change of scenery that had Parker in the diner this evening. Something as simple as that. A change in scenery, a change in mood, a need for really good food... if her stomach rumbling was anything to go by.
It was by sheer happenstance that she noticed one of her regulars in the floral shop.
She was seated on her own, minding her own business, reading a Stephen King book. At least she had good taste. But then again, she did come into her shop on the regular, so Parker already knew that her taste was decent. This only cemented it.
Weighing her options, the werewolf moved to where she sat on her own and slid in. As a pack animal it wasn't necessarily strange to see her interacting with people. This was just another one of those instances.
"I prefer Rose Madder or Cell myself, though Pet Sematary is pretty good. You hear they're doing a remake of the movie?"
Okay, so yeah, she was butting into the solitude the woman had going for her, but Parker was never really worried about personal bubbles.
