Slitted, golden eyes watched the man calmly, but with an intense sort of focus that only a giant creature like that could manage. Really though, any glance from a dragon was scalding even when one seemingly had nothing to fear. The moonlight glinted off of her scales, and then again off of her teeth when she seemed to smile at him. Said teeth were as long as he was tall and as big around as two of him easily, and surprisingly clean all things considered.
It was a smile, even though it didn't always look like that, depending on how confident one was feeling regarding her disposition.
When he slid down the dune she didn't move other than a few claws flexing in the sand. The dragon knew him, even if she didn't know his name at the moment. Knew he was safe. Not food, not a threat. The Dragon was a little light on minute details like names unless she absolutely needed to, it worked out better that way anyway. She watched him for a moment after the shark comment before tilting her head back towards the ocean, not quite raising an eyebrow but definitely doing her damndest to give that impression as if to say - you want one now?.
