Ornate Victorian interiors were what Graham recalled from London when it came to pubs - gin palaces, glass panels, large portraits. He'd been to a lot of regular haunts where you'd also see area prostitutes working their business, later to become victims of Jack the Ripper. But nowadays, he was more used to faded décor and candlelight - so he could appreciate a good pub, contrary to what some might think.
He had mentioned to Maeve, when they met, that he'd visit her pub and he planned to - he'd see about the food, but a drink sounded good. He also planned to bring a spiked hot chocolate to Len, since she seemed to like the stuff - and with an addition of say, peppermint schnapps or Baileys, that just made it all the better.
Thus, in his suit and tie (battle armor, clearly) he went to the counter to see what tickled his fancy. "I don't suppose you could make an Earl Grey Martini, can you?" he asked, selecting a seat that would allow for comfort for a tall sort of frame.
