Red wasn’t much of a planner when it came to weddings - he had been through one already and it had been organized down too the smallest detail. This one was chaotic and scattered because that was what he’d chosen for it to be. He didn’t want to be caught up in the logistics of binding himself to someone this time around and so whatever semblance of a wedding party was sort of touch and go. He didn’t have anyone else to ask and had it not occurred to him just then that he was lacking someone to fill that role he wouldn’t even have inquired of her in the first place.
Her acceptance made him radiate visibly. Had his ears been exposed they would’ve twitched in delight.
A chuckle and Red nodded. “Yeah, he’s working. But I can catch up with him later on. See you later, Parker.” And then he was hurrying toward the door of the flower shop with all of his things in tow in effort to tackle the day.
