Earphones. He should have brought his earphones. But that gave the idea that he wanted to be left alone and he wanted to be social. Pretending to be social. Social with people who weren't dead. Well, dead and invisible to most. He was tired of looking like he was talking to himself.
He smiled when a woman came up to him. She looked familiar. Had he seen her around town? Probably. He reached up and ran a hand through his hair, nodding, "Yup. First time here. It's a bit... overwhelming." Plus he saw pink fire somewhere, which was weird.
