Jaime regarded him briefly at the statement, though didn't say anything. She didn't personally actually know enough about vampires to know whether or not that was the part that mattered or if he'd been lucky not to die if he went out in any kind of sun. All she really knew - or cared - was that she could burn one to redeath if it came after her. Fire and sunlight weren't so very different, after all.
