"There's a bunch of them in the Blue Ridge Parkway North Carolina area," he offered. "I spent a summer there in the 90s. Lots of shade." If a day was overcast and there were looming mountains and trees around, sometimes he could go outside in the daytime. He always enjoyed that, although he tried to have a backup plan in place in the event there was suddenly a break in the cloud cover.
He didn't agree with liking boredom, necessarily, but he didn't comment. Each to their own. He could do without terror, himself.
"I'm good for a movie night," he said. "But hey, I'm a vampire. We stalk." He waggled his eyebrows, completely joking. He wasn't into terrorizing people.
