"Well, that'd explain it. The last time I was in a gift shop in a mountain town was ... hm. Never," she concluded with a nod. Though she guessed there was that one therapy store at the mall that probably played things that qualified.
"Well, here's to boring," she said with a quiet laugh and a roll of her shoulders. Honestly, she didn't much mind boring. Because when things got not boring, sometimes that got a little like terrifying. It was easy to forget, living in the bubble like they were, that people out in the world would kill them, no questions asked, if they knew what they really were.
"We should hang out some time. I mean some time where you're not stalking me around the barrier," she teased. "Like ... watch stupid movies or something."
