She hated when he was half asleep and barely there. She knew he was comprehending what she was saying but he wasn't allowed to fall back to sleep when she was still upset. It wasn't going to work like that.
"Me knowing who doesn't make it any better," she told him, wide awake. She wasn't the least bit tired yet. She wasn't going to be able to go to sleep. "You might as well have just done whatever it was - it couldn't hurt much more."
Visions of him running off and marrying Cho was enough to make her sick. Cho got everything. She always got everything. She was just the overlooked and forgotten one. And now the one person who'd always looked and saw her was going to look at her too.
"You're not going to be allowed to forget me that quick," she muttered, hurt flickering on her face as she moved to meet his face, kissing him hard. That was one way to wake some one up.
