"I do," he insisted, though there may have been a slight falter to his voice. "That is, mostly. I live near the British Museum and Library, you know. It's quite nice." He purposely neglected to say that he'd never been. "There's a nice chippy down the way, too, if you're into that sort of thing." Percy was, mostly because he'd had home-cooked meals for a large part of his life. Fried foods and ethnic take-out was a novelty - or had been. He'd been indulging himself for a while now.
"But out of curiosity, what do you recommend?" He did enjoy hearing what other people did during their spare time. It was vicarious, yes, but not bad.
