So he was all school books, and lessons. It was not a terrible thing, you see Cassius wanted to be sure he was employed in the job of his choice. There was no chance of him leaching off his father forever though he would gladly take the inheritance, the estate, and the flat. It didn't mean he would want to be on his father's short leash forever.
Cassius was too independent to be on an allowance from his father. That was not how he intended on spending his adult life. It was bad enough he allowed it to happen while he was in school. But back then he was trying to gain his acceptance. Now he had only himself to answer to.
