Gawain frowned. Buggering hell. He hadn't really noticed a change in her before she told him, but now that she did confess it all made a bit of sense. He'd been so caught up in his own worries that he hadn't really been paying much attention to his men.
"It's nothing. I think we were all distracted then anyway, for reasons that are obvious." He swallowed. "I am sorry, Nymphadora, for ... you deserve to be happy."
