Tonks gave him a half smile at the question of joining up and, after a moments contemplation, she nodded. "Sure. Not worth taking lunch alone, is it?" She asked quietly, still doing her best to be bright about things but she couldn't keep the emotional exhaustion out of her eyes. Especially now that she was off the clock for lunch. Strangely, on the clock and working helped things infinitely. She didn't have alone time in her head when she had to work.
She nodded a thanks and slipped into the lift, keeping her lips quietly sealed while they were among the group. She didn't trust them. Her eyes flickered over the other heads that were closely packed with she and Gawain, always watching and listening herself. It wasn't a comfortable way to live, but it was reality lately. It wasn't until they got to the top exit and out that she finally breathed. She shook her head to him again, "Doesn't feel the same, does it?"
