There was always a level of conflict when it came to George because she’d dated Fred for quite a while during their years at Hogwarts. It hadn’t exactly ended in the best of terms and while things were okay now there was a bit of hurt over it all. Fred was still her very best friend though. The problem was that George had always been there as her other close friend. You date one Weasley twin and you’re pretty much dating the other too. She and George had developed a special bond of the years. It wasn’t as easy as just letting things go how they would though.
Every time she came close to saying anything she thought about Fred and how awkward it would be. Maybe George would think the fact she had some feelings for him was weird. She was overall ignorant that any flirtation that might exist between them was anything more than that. It wasn’t as if he only flirted with her.
“Of course not,” she said with a grin, “You only sale the best. I can do nothing but offer a glowing review of all your products. I might have learned my lesson about being the test dummy on them though – the Wonder Witch line were the only things in this store that didn’t leave me with emotional and physical scars. You better keep me happy. I could sue.”
His journal was pretty wicked. She couldn’t help but think that as she examined it. It was very George. It went against the grain. She couldn’t help but be happy for them because they’d found what they were good at and stuck to it. These journals were going to be big. She just hoped the Ministry didn’t get hold of them and censor.
"Fred seems happy. I don't think I want to pull him out of his mood or distract him from his customers," she admitted with a gaze toward the register. "You'll tell him I came by so he won't get furious at me for missing such a record breaking day."
