Hestia's face took on a worried look as Viktor told her about the event that was being planned at the museum. "That's odd," she said as she began to eat her pie. It wasn't fabulously made, Hestia might have been able to make a better one herself, but it did taste fresh. "I thought that the curator was usually very friendly with you," she mused.
"Perhaps he's been told to keep the specifics to himself?" Hestia asked. She didn't like the idea of a surprise from the Ministry, that was certain, but how bad could it be? It was, most likely, some sort of party to honor Viktor, especially if he was being kept out of the loop. That was probably all, Hestia rationalized.
"Any case, I'm sure that it'll be a splendid event," she said with a smile. "We know how to throw a party over here, that's for sure," Hestia said before she ordered another drink from Tom. She knew that spending more time with Viktor would only cause her heartache in the end, but Hestia enjoyed having him next to her too much to leave so soon.
