Adrian, to put it mildly, was having a fantastic day. The night before hadn't been too terrible either; he'd spent it at Alicia's place (and he'd taken Ivan with him, which had gotten him teased again) and....yeah. Things were just really, really good with them. He was quite the lucky bastard.
"Aurelia, m'dear, your finest bourbon please," he said with a smile, grinning at her and waiting till she poured it. He wanted to find a table and just- sit. Maybe wait and see if any of his friends showed up, but if not...well, he had to do something. Couldn't just show up at Alicia's again, that would make him look too clingy. Or something. Right? His thoughts halted when his eyes landed on a face that was engraved in his memory.
