Cho's lips twitched as Percy puffed up with importance. It was almost cute in a pompous way.
"If it comes into or out of Wizarding Britain, it probably comes through our hands," she replied with no little amount of pride in her own voice. "Potion ingredients, furniture, spices, food, ingots of metal, timber, livestock, you name it. If it can be moved on a ship, we can get it where you need it to be." She grinned. "It can be quite facinating to spend a day on the docks and watch it all come and go."
She slipped around to his other side and began picking out some other fruit. "I'm still learning, of course, but as one of the import/export clerks I do the paperwork involved. You know - bills of laden, exise taxes, duties, all manner of reports for the Ministry, for the other in-house departments and for our customers. The world runs on red tape and triplicate forms as much as it does money."
