Percy was inspecting a fancy display of fruits. There was a crate of packaged berries, brightly colored and at the peak of their ripening, and a steaming pie in the middle, its golden crust curling over the maroon ceramic dish. It smelled fantastic, mouth-watering good, actually, but it made him feel a pang of longing for the Burrow. Unsurprisingly, thinking about the Burrow had him recounting his 'chat' with Bill.
He wasn't quite sure how long he'd been staring at the berry pie, only that it was, quite possibly, a ridiculous amount of time. Thankfully, a voice snapped him out of his reverie, and he shook his head quickly, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"Oh. Well. Hello, Miss..." He knew he ought to recognize the witch in front of him. She was in Penny's house, he recalled. Played Quidditch. She'd accompanied Cedric Diggory to the Yule Ball...
He winced ruefully. "I'm dreadfully sorry. I...ah! Chang. Miss Chang! Good day to you!" His wince turned into a pleasant smile.
