Re: Arrivals
Terence smiled at her reaction to the compliment. He thought about earlier that week, when he'd run into Cho Chang in Diagon and how she couldn't even speak to him like a respectable person. Janelle was the sort of girl that he liked to have around, she didn't seem too complicated. "Is that all it takes to make you blush, Janelle? I've hardly been in the room five minutes," Terence asked incredulously.
"Everything smells wonderful," he said as he followed her further into the apartment. She stepped close to him to take the bottle of wine, closer than necessary, Terence noted. He allowed his fingers to brush against hers as she took the bottle. "Every good deed deserves a reward, it's a wonderful philosophy," Terence added.
"I work for the Ministry in Accidents and Catastrophes," Terence said over his glass. His job paid well, most of the jobs in that department did, but things were going better for Terence now that the Ministry was finally functioning properly. "The work keeps me busy, and I like it, so I can't complain. What about yourself? What sort of job has kept you from seeing me, Janelle?" he asked in return.
