Terence checked his tie in the mirror, straightened it a bit, and threw on his coat before he was out the door. His suit might have been a bit much for the dinner, but Terence hadn't kept in touch with many of his former housemates since graduation, so he wanted to make the right impression. To him, the suit said that he had a good job and good taste, but that he didn't completely feel the need to impress his company. To anybody on the street, he could have just left work.
Bottle of wine in hand, he knocked on the door to Janelle's apartment. She had always been one of the pretty girls at school, and Terence had never really minded her company, even if she was terribly flirtatious, so the dinner would be a good opportunity for him to restore contact with her. He wondered if she was still the same girl that he remembered from Hogwarts.
