RP: Opening your eyes
Date: 31 September 1997 (why yes, there are 31 days in September, didn't you know?)
Characters: Melinda Bobbin, Bellatrix Lestrange
Location: Hogsmeade
Status: Semi-private (ping one of us if you want in)
Summary: Mel makes a wee mistake ...
Completion: Complete

Melinda wasn't happy at all. Not only was her favorite shop in Hogsmeade now closed (though she didn't know why - they didn't even have the decency to put up a note explaining the sudden closure), but now there were all sorts of wanted posters up on every available surface. Well, not every surface, but it certain seemed like it. The last thing she wanted to do was stare at Harry bloody Potter's face everywhere she looked. He wasn't ugly or anything, but the glasses were entirely wrong for his face, and he looked like he'd been smacked on the back of the head with a board. They couldn't have chosen a better picture?

She stared at the poster on the window of Gladrags, shaking her head as Potter stared back at her. Creepy. She wouldn't have thought him capable of killing, but if there were all these posters out for his arrest, then surely he had to have done it.

Her attention turned, then, to what was in the window, rather than what was on it. The damned poster was obscuring her view of that cute top. Honestly, that was just ridiculous. Reaching for it, she eased the corner back and proceeded to pull it away from the window.

Oooh, it had a pink hem to it. That was just lovely.
