"The fresh air helps as well," Hestia said as she took the loaf of bread from him a cut a few slices. It was warm and it smelled absolutely delicious, just what she needed. She wasn't completely used to this, having somebody that would drop in just because he was near her flat, somebody that would think of spending time with her just because he wanted to. Hestia liked Viktor very much, but she also liked the sort of relationship that they had. Things between them were progressing much more slowly than what she was used to, but new and different, in this case, wasn't bad.
"The Ministry hasn't been bothering you, have they?" she asked with concern. She wanted to tell him to get away from her, she wanted to tell him to go home to Bulgaria where it was safe, but she also wanted to keep him to herself. Hestia knew that she was selfish with him, but she also wanted to protect him from the troubles that she saw every day, and she couldn't take being responsible for pulling him into this war.
"You know I'm not the terribly fancy sort of girl," Hestia said as she stepped closer to him. She placed the plate of cheese and bread she'd just sliced on the table before she moved her hands to rest at his hips. "Thank you for stopping by," she said, leaning up to brush her lips against his. "I hope that you don't have to leave too soon." And with that she allowed her lips to press fully against his, taking time to kiss him thoroughly.
