"I couldn't get around without apparation. I don't like the floo system all that well, but sometimes it is more convenient. I certainly don't rely on muggle automobiles," Hestia said with a laugh. She might have grown up as a muggle, but she'd made her choice for magic some time ago. It was very difficult for her to picture herself driving a car.
"I understand the want for privacy, but I've hardly ever had people clamoring for my attention, well unless they were near death, so I suppose that it's hardly the same," Hestia said sheepishly. Privacy was one reason that she never dated anybody from work, one of the reasons that she hardly dated anybody. The woman had a hectic job and almost too many secrets to protect.
"Even if you weren't a world-class quidditch player, I'm sure it would be a bit difficult for you to ward away female attention," Hestia added impulsively.
"Your family?" Hestia questioned, then realized that she might've gone too far. "I'm sorry for being so nosy, you don't have to answer that question." She mentally smacked herself, but her curiosity truly did have a way of getting the better of her.
