"I'll have you know I can be quite athletic," she replied, stepping into his one armed embrace nonetheless, her body fitting easily against his side.
As they walked she found herself pushing away the thoughts of the past few weeks, including the interview the other day at the Ministry.
She could ask him about it, she supposed, although she wasn't sure the best way to go about it. Perhaps, she thought, she could phrase it in such a way as to seem innocent of everything, which, really, she was.
"The other day when you saw me at the Ministry they'd called me in to ask me if I knew anything about Harry Potter," she said. "I don't, by the way. Other than that I knew him at school." She frowned slightly. "Do they really think he killed Dumbledore?" That was what he was wanted for, and while she couldn't really believe that was true, it didn't hurt to ask. She was frightened of Lestrange, and with good reason, but the more she got to know Xavier the less likely it seemed he was completely involved with that lot. Maybe peripherally, although if she was wrong she might be in a whole lot of trouble.
