"Not just in Knockturn, I think we've had a few cases come in from Diagon as well. It seems that some businesses are still flourishing through difficult times," Hestia replied tightly. "Auror Robards said that he would see to those cases, but I believe that even he has a different set of priorities at the moment." Hestia shrugged, there was little that she could legally do about it.
Hestia quirked an eyebrow at his question. "There have been more suspicious cases through my wards, but we're not required to register the blood status of patients because officially, we're still an impartial institution, as far as I'm aware. I haven't treated any patients that the Ministry is currently looking for. Doing so without reporting them would be a violation of a few of the new laws, I believe." Most of the runaways were smart enough to stay clear of St. Mungo's, simply due to the fact that, sooner or later, the Ministry might seize power over the hospital. Hestia hoped it didn't come to that, but there was always the possibility.
"But with the responsibility of my training, I'm obligated to employ my skills outside of the hospital if somebody is in need," Hestia added lowly.
"That's not necessary, Mr. Weasley, you don't have your glasses on-- Ow." She only lacked a few papers when he stooped to help and knocked heads with her. "Ah, I'm sorry, no worse for the wear," Hestia said as she attempted to straighten, her hand instantly going to her forehead. She quickly gathered the rest of her parchments and settled them on the desk.
"Erm, your eye is looking quite better, but how's your head now?" she asked, as she gingerly rubbed the tender spot on her own head.
