Hestia lined the potions and salves she'd brought from St. Mungo's supply before she produced a small artifact collection sack for the telescope. It seemed that the telescope had already done its deed, but Hestia wasn't going to take chances by touching it herself. His bruise did look rather nasty. "Just place it in there, and I'll catalog it with the others from the day."
"Sorry about that, we've found ourselves terribly understaffed around here as of late. Hopefully it's not the case, but if an urgent case comes in, I may have to excuse myself for a bit," Hestia said apologetically. She wasn't sure how Percy's opinion lined up with Ministry politics, but she was hoping to get a bit of a gage from her comments.
"I think that we'll try this salve first. The main ingredients are slightly more concentrated than any available in apothecaries or stores, so it should work better and more quickly than the commercial brand. Hopefully the enchantment will fade with the bruise, but I brought a reference in case it doesn't," Hestia explained as she began to carefully apply the salve to the affected area around his eye.
"The salve may cause the bruise to tingle a bit, nothing too uncomfortable, but try not to touch it. Any sensation you feel just means that it's doing its job." She took a seat at the small desk, turning the chair to face Percy on the examination table as she cracked open the book.
"Oh, I certainly won't have to read the whole text, Mr. Weasley," Hestia said with a smile. "That's the purpose of the index, after all."
