RP: I'm the boss
Date: 8 September 1997
Characters: Gawain Robards, Graylin Savage, Nymphadora Lupin
Location: Gawain's office in the MLE
Status: Private
Summary: Gawain takes the reins on the investigation into Dumbledore's death.
Completion: Complete

This was the last thing that Gawain had wanted to do, but when the Minister of Magic said that he was to take over the case of Dumbledore's death personally, he had no choice but to do so. He was quite sure that neither woman would take it well, but hopefully they'd not be difficult about it. They'd been doing a half-decent job of looking for Potter, but he hadn't really looked too closely at their progress - or lack thereof, simply telling the Minister what he wanted to hear.

That wouldn't work any longer though, unfortunately.

Rubbing his eyes, he looked around the office and shook his head. He had an entire stack of cases he had no idea what to do wtih since they centered around Bellatrix Lestrange's latest breakout. Since she was now a free woman - and wasn't that a hex in the arse? - he wasn't quite sure what to tell the victims and families of victims about how the woman they knew had done horrible things was now pardoned.

Whatever was happening to the Ministry was shite - complete and utter shite, and Gawain didn't know what to do about it beyond what he could, trying to get justice for those cases he could still investigate and try to lessen the impact of the changes within the Ministry upon his men.

Pity he was doing a shite job of both.
