"I should have asked though, isn't it a tad impolite to just start snooping around and cleaning things, moving them around." Penny laughed awkwardly as she rubbed the back of her neck. Penny felt bad that she had surprised him like that. "Well it is done and don't plan on doing something like this every day." Penny tried to laugh it off hoping the awkwardness of the situation didn't seem so apparent, but now she started to think it was painfully obvious.
"Well as long as I am not being a bother, I don't want to be a burden of a house guest." Penny didn't think Percy would just tell her to leave but she also didn't want to annoy him. She didn't want to ruin a perfectly good friendship because she annoyed him enough while she was staying here.
"A beer sounds good," she smiled weakly following behind him. "Did you want me to make dinner?" After all he had said he need to judge whether she could cook or not.
