Penny had not really thought about what Percy would think about her reorganizing his things until right now. He was mad? Penny felt rather worried that she had made him mad by rearranging things, and perhaps she should have found another productive use of her time. “I’m sorry,” she said looking back to the towel she had grabbed to fold. Now more than ever she needed something to keep her busy.
“No, no need to be sorry,” she said glancing at him as he started to fold the last of the sheets with her. She smiled at him, “I didn’t mean to encroach on your space.” Penny really should have thought about that before she had gone and organized things for him. At least the place was cleaned the good old muggle way, with a lot of elbow grease.
“You don’t have to get a telly on my account Percy, it isn’t that big of a deal.” Penny didn’t watch tv much only when she was at her parents house and her brother wanted her to join him. Penny wouldn’t mind one though to watch something on during the day but she didn’t want to put Percy in any sort of position to get one. Penny was sure she was being quite the imposition already.
Penny sat with her mouth open in a bit of confusion as he tried to fix what he had said. “How about I don’t go into your room without you?” She shook her head, “I mean with your permission.” Penny vowed that no matter how bored she got tomorrow she wouldn’t clean Percy’s room.
“Uh sure, I will have something,” Penny said finishing her folding and putting it away as she stood up. “I cleaned in there but everything should be where it was before.”
