"I know you are," he told her. "You did very well out there, and I'm grateful for it. Things could have turned nasty very easily."
Managing a thin smile, he lifted his brows as she began to speak again. "Oh," he said quietly, and then nodded. It was, perhaps, the most tactful way someone had approached him about his decision thus far. He appreciated her for it, and it showed in his eyes.
"I will, Fleur," he promised. "Thank you."
Giving her a little nod, he went to the door. "Be careful," he warned. "And if, by any chance you hear from Ron, or Harry and Hermione..." It seemed like a long-shot, but you never knew. "Pass the word on to them. You know Harry. Dumbledore taught him never to fear a name."
