He jerked his chin into something of a nod. He wasn't sure what had drawn the Death Eaters in, but he didn't have time to worry about it, either.
There were seven Death Eaters altogether - one stunned, and a second that went up in a blaze from Fleur's hex. Two were skirting around the perimeter of the field, and he dashed forward, firing off two hexes with a swift slash of his wand.
One of the men shouted and fell, clawing at his eyes. Remus had hit him with a Conjunctivitis curse, and a powerful one, at that. Four Death Eaters left.
The second man had narrowly avoided being petrified, and Remus advanced on him quickly. His boots crunched through the grass, making him easier to spot, and he just managed to dodge a hex that jetted past his ear. He could smell burnt hair in his wake, and reached up to make sure nothing was smoldering.
"Impedimentia!" he shouted, waving his wand again. The Death Eater he'd been targeting slowed down substantially, and Remus took the opportunity to advance on him.
"Who sent you here?" he demanded, placing his wand near the man's neck. "Who sent you?"
