Summary: Marietta comes home to discuss the fact Padrig has been associating with known death eaters in an civilized manner ... too bad she has a raging temper. Adult situations and language.

She hadn’t been home in days but at 2:15 in the morning she came strolling in. She didn’t care if he was awake or not. He was going to be awake when she was done with him. This was not the sort of thing he should have kept from her. She took off her shoes at the door caring them with her as she searched for him. She was going to throw them at him whenever she found him.

Padrig Cadwallader was a dead man. No, he wasn’t just a dead man. He was already in the ground. Who the fuck did he think he was going and buddying up with a known Death Eater? He promised he wasn’t going to go and get himself killed. He was supposed to be around. He was going to get both of them shoved off to Azkaban now though. Ridiculous!

“I cannot believe you,” her voice shrieked loudly. She was being overly sensitive. She was still shaken from the whole ordeal. Recently released Death Eaters did not need to be coming to speak with her while she was at work though. They certainly didn’t need to say they knew her boyfriend either. “You come out here and tell me what the fuck you were thinking now?”

Yes, that was some of the Edgecombe class and grace coming out! He was quite familiar with it though. This was nothing new. She really did need to know where he got this numbskull idea though. Why hadn’t he discussed it with her? This affected her. This affected them.

"I know," he said quietly for once, admitting that she was right. "But it is. And we'll be the better for it."

He kissed her mouth, his own tender over hers, his fingers gentle on her skin.

"That I can promise," he told her. "I had no idea she was going to be such a gossip." Now that she was here with him in bed, he found himself becoming much happier she'd woken him up.

"Missed you, baby," he murmured, kissing his way down her neck. "Don't like sharing you with Umbridge."

His hand slid along her side and brushed underneath her breast, before his hand cupped it, finding the sensitive skin of her nipple with his fingers and brushing it.

She wasn’t sure that he was right about them being better for this. It was probably only going to make them worse. If they were going to die though, it was best to do it blissfully. He owed hre a few good shags to make up for this.

“You’ve got a lot of making up to do before I forgive you,” she let him know turning her neck for him to get better access. She was still dressed in her work clothes but she didn’t much mind the kissing or the fondling. When the switch came on they never much wasted their time.

They were making a dangerous habit of making up like this. There were worse habits that could be had. She closed her eyes and licked her lips enjoying the friction of his hand over the top of her button up blouse. She’d even wore one of his favourite skirts to work not that he’d have noticed in the 15 minutes she’d allotted herself to come home and change and go back earlier.

“We could have ended this fight ten minutes ago. You should have just fucked me up against the door,” she let him know mouth edging against his throat and up his neck to his ear, teeth grazing against his flesh. “That would have shut me up and made up for lost time.”

"Yeah, could of." He smiled wolfishly, then slid her hand inside the v of her blouse, fondling the warmth of her breast through her bra as his fingers made short work of the buttons. "Course I can just fuck you here and now. Nice and hard, like you like me to." God, she could get under his skin just like that.

Through the thin material of her bra, he teased her nipple with little sharp strokes before he moved the material aside and began to tug it with his fingers, just hard enough to be painful.

This was easier, and no matter how badly they fought, it always came back to this, they found their peace in this.

"I thought you wanted me to fuck off," she teased him. Yes, she hadn't forgotten. "You sure you don't want to go back to bed."

Of course it felt good. It always did! She liked it when he talked dirty to her and said things like that. Maybe that was why they got along so well. Of course, he generally wasn't just a man of words but a man of action. That owas one thing she loved about him.

She cried out when he tugged at her nipples through the material of the bra. This just wasn't going to do. It wasn't going to do at all. He'd been dishonest. She was going to fucking make him work for this. No matter how wet he made her.

"I might let you fuck me though if you can catch me," she murmured hotly against a shoulder before moving away and sprinting out of the room shrugging the shirt out of it's sleeves along the way. She loved a good chase.

Padrig groaned with frustration as she moved away. Fucking bint. He was so going to make her pay for that one, did she have any idea how hard it was to run with a hard on?

He was on his feet and after her in a moment.

"Oh, I'll catch you," he shouted. "And then you're not going anywhere until I'm done with you."

He smirked a little as he stalked her through the dark rooms. And that she could most definitely count on.

Marietta got smug satisfaction in knowing she’d become quite good at hiding seek as a child when she’d hide from the idiot block heads her mother brought around for her to play with. She could be as quiet as a mouse. She did leave a trail though as she disappeared in the darkness.

She settled in their small library. Content to sit on the desk there surrounded by books in nothing but her knickers and bra – and the scandalous knee high stockings she’d taken to wearing with her calf length skirts.

She was as silent as she could be. Enjoying listening to him mouth off as he searching through their house. This was a fun game! They’d have to play it more often.
