"I know," he said quietly for once, admitting that she was right. "But it is. And we'll be the better for it."

He kissed her mouth, his own tender over hers, his fingers gentle on her skin.

"That I can promise," he told her. "I had no idea she was going to be such a gossip." Now that she was here with him in bed, he found himself becoming much happier she'd woken him up.

"Missed you, baby," he murmured, kissing his way down her neck. "Don't like sharing you with Umbridge."

His hand slid along her side and brushed underneath her breast, before his hand cupped it, finding the sensitive skin of her nipple with his fingers and brushing it.
