He wasn't allowed to turn this on her. She went to work. She came home when her work was done. She didn't go out and do things without talking it over with him. She might ask him to do a few things here and there but she never asked him to join up with these people.
"You can keeping your nose clean joining a group of murderers," she asked trying hard not to laugh at how foolish he sounded. She would have done what she had to do but she wouldn't have agreed to that. Even she had her limits. "You don't know what you're signing yourself up for."
She sat down at the edge of his bed at his back. Fuck this! She hated this. She didn't want to do this anymore. She just wanted a normal life. She let a cold hand touch the flesh at his hand. "How are you going to feel when everyone you love get killed? Me, your grandparents... How is that going to make you feel?"
She even sounded a bit sad as she said it. Why was he just giving into this? Did he have a death wish? "Am I really so intolerable that you'd go and risk it all like this?"
