"Yeah, that sounds good," he agreed. The fact that Megan was here, and he wasn't alone in Paris anymore seemed like a good reason to celebrate. Even if the circumstances in which they'd found themselves in Paris weren't the best.
He listened to her talk about her summer, frowning when she reached the end. Things must have gotten pretty bad if she would rather be here with him than having fun at parties with her friends and stuff.
"No, probably not. Everything is all right, at home I mean? What did you tell your parents? About you leaving?" he asked. Must have been good if they'd let her go, or maybe she'd done what he'd done and sneaked out.
