Alicia was having a rough day. First there had been the floo call from her mother this morning asking her to go out with one of her friend's sons (poor thing, he was all shaken up about his work with all the changes, her mother had said in hushed tones), and then when she'd come to work, she'd faced a two hour inquiry from the goblins about her meeting with Selwyn last night, during which they'd questioned her allegiances and her intentions, and muttered behind her back in Goblin as if she couldn't understand exactly what they were saying about her.
She was dead knackered, and still she had a full case load for the afternoon. Her mind was full of lots of things when she headed through the front of Gringotts on the way to grab a sandwich for lunch before starting work again. She was about to dash out the employee entrance when she caught sight of a familiar blonde head leaving one of the Goblin's cages.
Alicia's eyes widened and she headed back towards the main floor, boot heels clacking.
