Justin read the over three times, growing more angry each time. There was something about the way they had written 'known Muggle-born' that smacked of 'known criminal'.

He was to report to the Ministry on Monday, and there was one thing he was certain of at that moment; he would not be going. He'd been toying with various ideas since he'd gotten his Hogwarts letter, and it looked like his idea to disappear to the continent was looking less ridiculous and paranoid, and more pertinent. He'd been over it so many times in his head that he already knew exactly what he was going to do.

First he needed to contact Megan. He would not leave her alone to deal with this. Then he needed to pack and find a way to keep his parents safe, something he wasn't altogether sure was even possible. But they would be a lot better off without him around. There was much to do, and very little time in which to do it.
