"You're extremely right about that," Hestia said, "And I don't really think that things have changed for the better." Her voice was low, but Hestia was still uncomfortable with having such a discussion in public. She was glad when their conversation took a turn, heading into more positive and enjoyable territory.
"I like hearing about your home, where you come from," she said with a smile, noting the way he still kept his voice low. She liked that, it was like they were sharing secrets that were only meant for one another. It concerned her a bit that Viktor didn't quite have such good friends in England yet, but given time she was sure that he developed those relationships as well. "And while I like staying in with you, I'm glad that I got the chance to take you out tonight," she added.
"I'm sorry that I'm not exactly the one for vodka and songs all through the night, but I'm sure we can find an equally suitable way to celebrate the night, Viktor," Hestia said lowly as her eyes met his across the table.
