Melinda glared at him and then at the trainee, whose shoulders were shaking suspiciously.
"I was going to buy you a pint for being so wonderful and getting me here, Roger Davies, but now I don't think I will since you're being so mean," she said, nose going into the air and her arms crossing over her chest. She pouted. "I've just been through a very traumatic experience and here you are making jokes when I've just molted!"
The trainee stepped out just then, and Melinda could hear the giggles through the thin curtain. She scowled.
