Re: Kol and Katharine
Kol was worried about Davina and yes, he wasn't thrilled at the idea of her showing up naked anywhere without him. However, naked or otherwise, Kol knew Davina Claire could handle herself. After all, she'd saved his ass more than once. The little witch was not one to be underestimated.
"So, death turned you into a poisonous bitch," Kol replied with a cheeky smile. "Not like I have room to talk. Death turned me into a murderous, psychotic vampire." For Kol, it didn't matter that someone he loved and trusted caused it. He knew it made the situation worse as it clearly did with Katharine as well. Hence the comment about the basket of poisoned gifts. At least Esther and Mikael were dead.
The Original Vampire knew there were others here that came from worlds without vampires. She was hardly alone in not knowing much about his kind. "There are others here that don't know much about my kind either., but yes, compulsion is roughly what you described. It's about mental manipulation and obedience." Kol was a step above a normal vampire in the fact that he could compel other vampires outside of his own family.
He pondered her response about feeding. Kol could heal from almost any poison quickly except for vervain. He wasn't keen on testing the theory either, but he imagined he could still drink from her...it would just be painful. After a moment, he shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure. I'm immortal and I heal quickly so my guess is I can still feed from you, but it might be painful. And yeah, I normally do have one, but unless she's shown up here, I'm going to have to find myself another option."
He nodded. "I don't think anyone does. Unless you go in your sleep. Maybe that's not terrible." The two were closer to the houses now and Kol could see that they were in various stages of disrepair and appeared to be abandoned. He gestured towards a the closest cluster of homes.
"Shall we see if we can find anything more appropriate in any of these?"
