Caspian and Alyssa
Caspian had ventured to the beach earlier in the day, but his curiosity would simply not allow him to stay away. The need for adventure coursed through his veins as surly as blood. One could even say Caspian was potentially addicted to the prospect of exploring and seeing new worlds. The appearance of the gifts from the merfolk and the merfolk themselves promised that much needed fix. He couldn't wait to take advantage of such an opportunity.
Alyssa was also eager for adventure and had agreed to accompany him down to the beach. The two made their way to the shoreline near sunset and Caspian was pleased to see heads were still visible above the water. Part of him had feared they'd have returned to the depths by now. He turned to look at Alyssa, a bright grin on his face. "They are still here. We are in luck, Alyssa."
Pausing at the shoreline, his boots sinking into the wet sand and waves lapping at the toe, Caspian gave a wave, hoping to attract their attention and called out a greeting of "Hello!" Because Caspian was unfamiliar with the customs of these merfolk, he hadn't brought any gifts. He didn't wish to accidentally offend them with a such a gesture.
