Kol and Azriel
Kol chuckled. Amren sounded a lot like a certain witch he knew and loved. He could always respect a woman who could put him in his place with the potential to kick his ass. It was sexy.
The vampire nodded. "Better the villain you know," he replied. Even if he was terrible, at least they shared the same goals. It reminded Kol a lot of his relationship with Klaus. His older half-brother could be a nightmare, but they often shared the same goals. In the end, they both valued family and those they loved over anything else.
Once Azriel has poured himself some, Kol accepted the bottle back and set it down between them. "Yes, it's best we don't end up starving. Even vampires with excellent control can still fall prey to the bloodlust if they have been without blood for some time."
Kol took a sip from his bourbon and nodded. "She is. Though, she is from an earlier point in our history so for her, she is not technically my wife yet." But Kol still considered her as such; a difference in timelines did not change how Kol felt about her.
"And Caroline is very kind. She had my one brother wrapped around her finger for a time. Believe me, that's quite a feat. She is truly capable of seeing the good in anyone."
