Re: Alyssa and Ed (Day 1 evening)
Alyssa rather liked the sound of Ed's laughter. She found it refreshing and the Netherling realized how much she'd missed laughter. "Oh. My. God." The blonde snorted out another bit of laughter. "I can't say I wouldn't make the same assumption, although I'm sorry it didn't taste like chocolate." Magic flowed through Alyssa's body the same as blood, even if it wasn't the usual magic. "I may have stared at my plate in confusion. Imagine my shock when I realized that feasts in Wonderland...the goose might be cooked, but you still have to catch it if you want to eat it."
"Caspian seems kind and in this place? I have a feeling we'll all need kindness to keep up our spirits." Alyssa stopped short of saying how much she enjoyed watching his relationship with Susan blossom, even from afar. She took a bite of steak and face palmed when Chessie returned adding moonbeam cookies to both her plate and Ed's.
"I've come face to face with someone who knows me perfectly and..." she sighed and matched her volume to Ed's. "It's both thrilling and terrifying." Alyssa's face softened and she considered her next words. "I like the way you think. Yes, you're right." The Red Queen might be conniving and might thrive on chaos, but she'd be a terrible queen if her subjects and court didn't trust her. The human side of her won out sometimes. "We do know." Hell, even Mor knew sometimes.
Alyssa's love language was touch, for friends and romantic interests alike. She'd bump shoulders with Kol and touch Ed's arm. "I look forward to it too. I hope you can see home too, in whatever form you consider it to be." She settled back to enjoy her food and friends.
