Lu and Cas
Caspian smiled. "I thought you might," he replied. Keeping people's spirits up was just as important as their physical well-being. If moral was low, there was a good chance a battle or even a life could be lost. He was pleased to hear that Lucy agreed with him.
Her question sobered him and Caspian looked grave. He did not want to believe that their lives here would consist of danger constantly. However, he wasn't naΓ―ve enough to believe they wouldn't face evil like the hounds again, but he did hope there would be less of it. "I do believe there will be danger, as all adventures have, but I don't believe it will be a constant. I believe there will be happiness too. Joy. Excitement. On the Dawn Treader we faced our share of hardships, but we also saw so much beauty and had laughs," Caspian answered softly. "I want to believe that will be the case here too."
It did feel so much longer didn't it? "It does feel so much longer," Caspian commented in between bites of food. Like Lucy, he hoped his stomach would be okay with the rich food.
"My stomach will be alright. It just might take a moment to adjust."
