Re: Lu and Cas
Lucy wanted to keep her spirits up, even in this place, but she found it difficult to do so. Of course, the blond conceded the overwhelming exhaustion might have something to do with it. Of course, this place seemed like Hell, so the blonde didn't foresee herself actually liking it. Home was much better and she kind of couldn't wait to get back there.
She sighed and offered her dear friend a smile. The only person who would ever fully understand those moments was Susan and Lucy learned over the last few years to not talk about it with her older sister. Susan here seemed different, but it would take time for Lucy to relearn how to be friends with her sister.
"Hey, no. That's not your responsibility." Lucy sipped at her tea and considered her next words, offering him a smile. "I do appreciate it, though." She sighed. Her bright and beautiful spirit could use a few less zombie hound creatures. "I'm sorry we're all here." She did find it weird to be close in age to Caspian, but like back home, time was not linear.
Her hand squeezed her friend's shoulder. Another bite of food and she giggled at the noises Caspian's stomach made.
