Kol Mikaelson & Alyssa
He smirked and shrugged. "I have nothing to hide, love. My history isn't pretty, but I will answer any questions you have." Who didn't have darkness in their pasts? Granted, Kol potentially had more than most, but he certainly wasn't shy about discussing it. In a lot of ways, Kol had made peace with those demons the moment he started a life with Davina.
Her question was certainly personal and bold, but Kol did not take offense. Instead, he merely looked amused. "It's alright, darling." The vampire polished off the remainder of his blood bag as he considered how to answer. "Well, for me, I would say it is a euphoric experience. I suppose comparing it to a drug of almost any kind would potentially do it justice." He set aside the empty bag and turned to face her, a hand settled on his knee.
"It's pure power. Energy. A rush like no other." And the price could be so very high. Kol had killed hundreds of people in search of indulging in that power. And sometimes, just because he could.
Kol was fine with moving on to other topics. "Well, perhaps you can tell me more about your world sometime," he replied. One of the positive aspects of this place was the variety of people.
He was smiled when Alyssa paused, clearly unsure of what to refer to Davina as. "I consider Davina my wife," he clarified. "Though, I know she doesn't quite know what to refer to me as." Which was fine. This place had made things confusing between them, but as long as Kol had Davina, he didn't care. "But I'm glad to hear you escaped with only a few scrapes."
